I have a dilema
Some jack anus hit my tC a while back and ran off. It wasnt so bad so i waited on fixing it cause of how much i would cost but since paint was chipped off at the corner were it bends into the door its recently bust open from rust and flexing from my subs. long story short the panel has to be replaced.
I found one on conicelliautoplex.com for 450 shipped but after i bought it they canceld my order saying they dont ship or sell those so im like okay...
i cant find one anywere for less than 500 and i refuse to pay that much
i guess im just seeing if anyone here knows if theres anywere else i can go

 

Is it really that bad it cant be fiberglassed? I bet you if you took it to a truck body repair shop they could fix it. Those truck bodies are all fiberglass and when they crack or anything they dont replace it, they re mold the shape. If they can do it on trucks I'm sure they can do it on a small quarter panel.

Do you have any idea how much it would cost for labor on replacing the quarter panel? Maybe just as much or more as the quarter panel is worth.

 

i went to a friends friend body shop and he told me 800 to replace panel, paint and fix door. not including quarter panel

il take a phone pic tomoro. if you see pink stuff on the window just know its left over markings from a wax crayon after a few of my friends marked the car on my birthday. They drew a big ***** with a mole on the passenger side window wich just so happens to be the side of the damage. i have tried to scrape as much off as i can...

yeah, look, your not going to get a panel that big for cheap because unless you can go pick it up, you can't because the shipping for pieces that big is very expensive.

 

how much you think shipping would me?
the last time i bought the panel shipping was supposed to be free cause the item was over 250$

i work at a body shop and i can get a discount,let me ask how much it'll cost and i'll let u know tomorrow

my roomate was suposed to talk to his friend that works for toyota but hasnt heard back from him.
my buddy that works for enterprize said he might be able to get a discounted panel for me but hes still working on seeing if thats even possible. I guess right now i feel like im stuck in this waiting game and its taking longer than id like.

 

 

that hole used to not exist at all but thats what rust and bass will do to you.

 

whoah...damage to make a hole like that mustve been a pretty hard hit
