Warning: I'm a newb, just got my tC last week and was wondering how some people have their lights/rear lights dark/blacker than others. Is this a kit that i need to buy? I've heard you can do it on your own but how?? What supplies would i need? On a scale of 1-10 10 being hard as hell, 1 being easy as hell, what's the difficulty of doing this on your own? ! Thanks a grip!

 

well "Bat" on here sells some vinyl as an overlay to darken them out. other have painted it and it comes out clean! I think it only looks good with BSP tC's and maybe SW?

 

Yeah, that's exactly what i was looking for! Painting them! Anyway, was using the search option on this website and nowhere do i find a guide that tells me how to paint my lights =(. If anyone could give me a tutorial on how to do this, i would GREATLY GREATLY appreciate it. Btw, my tc's flint mica, hopefully this turns out great, have seen some on the street that are the same color with the same mods on their lights and they came out great! oo, and one more question, if i paint them, will they effect the strength of the light at all? Would my lights be dimmer? thanks!

 

im not sure if there's a DIY on this? The lights will be dimmer and you could get a ticket if the cops dont like it? IDK if it would look good on Flint Mica! IMO i wouldnt do it!
