Default question about projectors

I know this has been asked before, but Im new to projectors. I had some 8k lights installed on my 08 projectors tc. Now is the lighting supposed to be adjusted in some way because the beam seems to have a set mid point beam in contrast to other non projector types where it seems to project fully out and around the environment. Can some one have some compasion and educate me...

what are you talking about? putting hids in your projector headlight will clean everything up and depending on what color temp you get, yes it will look like lexus/bmw/acura hids. there isnt a difference in projector lamps.

I get it so then the light is from the projector, projecting it in a fine tune so that it wont interface with oncoming traffic plus give it the enhancement I need....

The projectors on your 08 headlights are for halogen bulbs only. The output is nowhere near hid projectors. The tsx, s2k, sc430, etc are made specifically for hid NOT halogen...

ummmmm wrong, they arent just for halogen bulbs. a projector lamp is a projector lamp. all you need is the HID kit(which uses a xenon bulb) and depending on what color temp you choose it looks exactly like tsx,s2k, and sc430.

no, the 08 tc has projectors for halogen bulbs. Thats why the hid bulbs are different than the d2s bulbs normal hid projectors use. I have a retrofit, so trust me. There is a huge difference. And it looks nothing like a tsx or s2k. The beam is so much wider, has a sharper cutoff, and is way more intense without the hotspots. Seriously, search about the topic or go to hidplanet.com for a little info...

After, go search around sl for 08 projectors with plug n play hids in them and try and tell me that is the same...

real projectors cost $$$. There is no $1xx plug and play kit which is going to give you the same performance of real hid projectors just by dumping it into a crappy stock housing. The 08 ones are better than the 05-07 ones, but they still aren't hid projectors. They are designed different...
