I just wanted to see if there is anyone else out there having the same problem as me with window tint.

I got my windows tinted 20% all the way around, and waited the 3-4 days before I rolled them down when I finally did the tint got scratched all to hell. So, I took it back and got the passenger side door window re-tinted because thats the only one that has issues. I waited the 3-4 days and the same thing happened..

I took the car back to Toyota for them to look at it because its clearly something inside the window compartment inside the door, but they gave me the run around because I got aftermarket tint etc...blah blah blah

I just wanted to see if anyone else is having issues with their windows and tint?? Any feedback would be appriciated thanks...

 

Tell your dealer Tint is tint, no matter who it comes from, and a problem exists and they are obligated to fix the sh*t.

 

pull back the felt window seal at the bottom of the window and wipe inside it with your finger.... that should be the only part of the door touching your tint...

 

there have been other threads about this same problem. i think there are actually two weather seals or somethin'. i have mine tinted and haven't had any problems. i would suggest trying to search for the previous threads.

 

does it have warranty
