Default Question on these HID lights...

Hey guys,

I tried a search on the site...and while this is like my 3rd post, the information I required did not come in through the search and hence my post. IF this is a repost then I apologize beforehand and ask for forgiveness.

http://www.xtralights.com/index.asp?...S&Category=339

That is the link. I was wondering if anybody had those and if they were good or not. My next stop is www.hidplanet.com to learn more about these lights but any pointers, advice, installers in the DFW area etc would be appreciated.

Cheers!

go retrofit if you want to do it right...the cheap projectors in those headlights will still create hot spots and glare.

Great! Thanks for the input fellas. I am trying to read the stuff on HIDplanet but there is too much info and with work and all I dont have time to sift through all that. All I know is PnP kits are a bad idea. I saw some Porsche kits for the HID at the hidplanet website and I think I might go with those but I need to do more research. Also I dont want to install them myself so I need to look into a good shop here in the DFW area that does good work as well.

or you can ask some peeps on those forums to see if they can help you out maybe someone close to you? I plan on sending mine off to someone to do it cause i dont have the cahones or patience to do it myself. I get frustrated at times!

hidplanet sucks for information if you are a beginner, you have to know the basics before you go

i have provided great link in "Sticky: Quick and Dirty H.I.D. FAQ For N00bs"

^ yeah, b4 doing anything you need to read up. .not just jump into.. and this is a intense mod.. so if you expect for someone to walk you through it over the phone, then expect to do some readings. there is PLENTY of info over there to read and learn yourself.. it only sucks if your lazy.

it's not just that, if you have questions about HIDs, please post it at the stick, it is there for a reason!

Cool I will do just that. My apologies...I think what most people might be looking for is a reliable source where they can get the retrofit done with high quality. It seems quite difficult to find someone like that.

Yes it is. I still haven't found anyone in Vegas that can do a retrofit for me.
