how much is the usual price to install lowering springs?

 

Are u talking the TRD springs installed from the dealer? or aftermarked @ Shop, or aftermarket DIY?

I'm guessing here.. but the TRD are 300 I believe + install (which your dealer specifies)

im talking about aftermarket springs.. if i went to a performance shop.. what would they usually charge me if i already have my springs.. but juss want them installed....?

For me, it was $20. I went to Harbor Freight and bought a $13 torque wrench and some spring compressors for $7 and did my springs over a weekend

 

$200 Here...I was impatient...just went to a small shop...They did an excellent Job!

 

i got my springs installed for $140..front and rear..hotchiks springs...

 

Best thing to do is to call around in your local area to some 'auto enhancement' shops. Heck, you might even find somebody local to you on this site who will do it for a 12-pack! Personally, I wouldn't pay more than $150 for Springs install.

 

hell i used to do it for lunch. that was very cheap man labor back then.

 

TRD springs are $199 MSRP, which is what most dealers are selling them for, but I believe TRDsparks charges less.

Dealer installation prices seem to vary greatly, but you can usually get a fixed rate for the job, rather than paying their hourly shop rate for however long it might take them to get it done. I paid a $200 fixed rate for my installation at the dealer, for a total cost of $399, springs + installation. I thought that was reasonable, but wouldn't pay anything more.
