In my never-ending quest to mix some euro styling in with my car, I've come up with a possible idea for my front end. Tell me which you guys like better:


A), with the black framed in silver,



-or-

B), with the black extended all the way to the bottom

 

Not feeling it man. Trying to go for an Audi look?

 

(B) would look better with a lip kit and possible splitter.
(A) would look cool if you had a NICE pin stip where black and silver meet.

GET A CF HOOD!!! And color match it along the stock lines of the hood, leaving the center CF exposed to match the "black face"......
Match the CF Hood with CF Eyelids....you get the idea

Photoshop the CF on the hood and eyelids to see how that would look...

 

WOW, I just noticed that too...it's funny how a $17,000 car can look like a $30,000+ Audi or BMW with a FEW minor changes..... I love Scion!!

 

I like the first option better.

It would be hard to get the CF hood to look right IMHO...if you look at the "V" the hood lines make they narrow to the top portion of the grille...the black part would then widen back down heading towards the lower grille. It would be too much of an exaggerated coke-bottle effect for me. Plus, if you look at where the top points of the "V" meet the windshield and a-pillars, the "V" come out past the edges of the windshield but stops short of the edges of the a-pillars. If I painted the CF hood's edges, the fact that it wouldn't line up with part of the body at that part would bother me. That, and I don't have the cashflow for a hood right now :D Thanks for the opinion though!

It would look better if it were a WIDEbodykit but I like the bottom one better because the top looks like its yawning or something :o
