Ok so i'm getting my windows tinted tommorow (first thing not stock ive done to it so far) and im wondering whether to get 20% all around except for the front, or 35% on the front 2 and 20% on the back 3. The second one dosent look like much of a difference, enough to tell at least but i dont know. The legal limit in va is 50% so im prolly really gonna get pulled over for 20% all around. What do you guys think I should do? It's on a bsp TC btw. Any suggestions please?

 

well i also have a BSP and the legal limit in Minnesota is 50% also. IMO i think keep it all the same tint i dont like how it looks with different tint percentages on the sides. Im going to get 35% sides and back i think thats the darkest you can go without getting harassed.

 

Yeah going two different %s looks pretty weak to me.

 

go with 20% all around....35% is too light and 5% = police could give you a hard time. I originally got 35% now i have 20% all around and its much better not to dark but dark enough.

 

ohh yeah another thing is if u do get pulled over with tints that are illegal roll down your windows just so the police can see inside of ur car

 

i have 20% and love it. on the downside, at night i have to roll down my window once in a while to get around corners carefully, especially if its raining it can be hard to see out of. my cousin lives in va and gets pulled for his tint often which isnt nearly as dark as mine. you may want to go with 35% all around, it looks good and will be a bit easier to see out of at night.

 

i live in VA also and i just put on 15% all around. what part of va do you live? it really depends on that

 

ok so i got my windows done 35 and 20 like i talked about before. It was almost dark when i got there tonight but from what i could see it was AWESOME! it's to dark to take pictures right now but trust me, ill have some for ya'll tommorow. I thought i was gonna be dissapointed but hopefully i wont be when the suns out.

I'm in the Navy and stationed in Norfolk,VA I used to have a 2006 VW Rabbit which i just traded for a Flint Mica 2007 tC and i love the tC. but i had 20% all around on the rabbit and i never got pulled over... Its time to tint my tC now 20%

I have 35% all around and also have bsp......imo 35% is dark enough to look good and not too dark for the cops to mess with ya....if you get 20% you will probably get pulled over.....
