ok...so here in NJ it snowed, rained, and hailed. So I went out to the car, cleaned her off and warmed it up for about 10 minutes or so... so I had to get into trunk...i unlocked it, proceeded to attempted to lift the trunk open.....

next thing I know....I am holding that rear cover in my hand.... so yea... this sucks...I didnt really even give it that hard a pull- im guessing the combination of the trunk being frozen solid, and the cold temps, the thing legit just snapped off. So either I need to get a new carbon fiber one, or a replacement....

any thoughts? anyone have one? (BCP) or ideas?

 

If you have a carbon fiber hood, then go with the carbon fiber trunk

i've actually seen a tC at work with that rear cover ripped off...and it doesn't even get that cold in Orange County....

 

go to the dealer and rip someone a new one!

then get a free new one from them....

then go cf :D

WOWIE WOWIE.... A replacement rear hatch thing from delta is $250!!!!!!!!!! WHOAAAA thats wild. A new unpainted one from the dealer is like $125 then paint ect. I know his has the emblem filled...but $250 is more then I want to spend .... hmmm

 

get the CF one (with filled emblem) and paint it. its like 125+paint... shouldnt be a lot
