any one know if there are after market tail lights out there? all i can find are the stock and tyc tail lights.. sorta wanna change to a different look..

 

u are out of luck..no one makes them yet...only the tyc and stock...u could smoke them for a different look

 

yah im in the process of doing that now.. im staying away from overlays though and bought the spray instead..

 

Overlays would be a better idea especially in california where cops are really into ticketing tuner cars. Too dark and its a ticket if you put an overlay on and get in trouble just take it off show that its fixed and put it back on.

I know a guy who sprayed his lights dark got a ticket and now hes in real trouble cuz he doesnt have anyway to remove the spray

 

im pretty sure its called acetone.

Um... the TYC ones are aftermarket lights.

But no, there are no others.

 

Beleive me, if there where any others you would find it on here first.

 

Bat, what are you coming up with now? I would get overlays instead of the spray unless you have a extra set of tails handy then go for it!

 

Tried smoking mine... tasted like hell and the plastic melted all in the pipe. Never again man.. never again...

None that I know of, but I havent looked super hard. I like the stocks.

Customize your own tails like I did.

All Red TYCs. I get A LOT of compliments on these! I used Vans Lens Paint. It comes in a few colors and shades. I tried overlays, but they were a b$%ch to put on. (I felt like my thumbs were going to fall off from all the smoothing out I attempted to do.) If I ever get pinched by 'The Man', I'll just slap on my OEM tails. No biggie.

 

that all around red look looks sweet, then with a small layer of black tint over that i think they would look real nice.. youve given me ideas.

Actually Guys......Clearcorners is working on a third tail light....it will be out eventually http://www.clearcorners.com/products/scion/tc1/

 

clearcorners.com is retarded expensive for some 10 dollar led's and 200 bucks in labor..
