i would have just coverd the top half, the clear circle looks odd. IMO. but its a start, sad part is it still uses the orginal top turn signal bulb, ill wait until they come out with a 100% LED set up.

Thanks for the post man.... I am totally down with it... Ever since I did my RS1.0, I kinda had to balance the fact that they look cooler at night than the stock, to justify their gaudiness in the daytime... that's a great solution, cause I *do* like my TYC lights, but this will really help things out... I will probably leave the amber visible though, as I like the more European style....never did like red turn signals...
now, just gotta get the LEDs ordered for the rest of the remaining bulbs!

ummm looks great.. but i just wonder why didnt they make the turn signal LED also.. might as well.. instead of keeping the rgl bulb signals..

Put a red overlay over the third break light and take off the tC emblem and it will look HOT. IMO

 

just looks stock with different reverse lights

On the site you bought the overlays...which one did you but and how much did you get?...which color?

 

those look pretty good.. definitely a lot better than the original TYC design like everyone else said. IMO i think they'd look best if they were ALL red (no clear little slanted rectangle on 'em or anything). that would look real clean.

I couldn't get rid of Black outline but see the original TYC's.

That's illegal and bring accident.
reverse lights should be white(or yellow)
If reverse light are red, rear car can hit front car.

I believe you can still have red plastic and the clear from the reverse lights shining through. No one was saying anything about the reverse lights being red.

 

TL's reverse lights are not red. they are at side of license plate.
There is no car has red reverse rights.

 

The original look is repulsive, the overlays on it adds a better look. I think its a nice touch adding the led tails looks nice as long as you put the overlays on them.... IMO

 

oh well. they'd still look better all red. the clear rectangle looks retarded and worse than the stock tail lights.
