Default remove covers under car to install fogs

Do you have to remove the whole wheel well to install the fogs that go in the air vent things (APT fogs/VRD fogs) I tried to remove the covers that are under the vents. but I saw that it is part of the whole wheel well liner.
So do you remove the whole wheel well liner to install the fogs??

thanks

Heres what I did.

Turn the wheel to the right to do the left side, and to the left to do the right side. That nets you alot of room to play with.

Unbolt and pop out the two clips that you need to in order to peel the fender liner back to access the back of the cubby hole that the fogs go into.

Slide the fogs in from the front, push to secure, then grab the wires. Bolt the ground in the hole that is right by the fogs. The wire reaches it perfectly, you will see the hole i'm talking about. It's up on the metal part, the frame.

After thats secured, unbolt the 2 (if I remember) bolts that hold the bottom splash pan on. Run the power wire across from the drivers side fog to the passenger, under the car where the splash pan is, then tuck the wires up under the splash pan mounts and re-bolt. Holds the wire up securely and looks clean.

Then just plug the connections in where they belong, go in the dash and plug that connector in, etc.

NO need to take off the bumper, the fender liners, the whole splash pan, etc.

I thought it was going to be a huge undertaking, and I ended up installing my VRD's in 15 minutes without taking anything off at all, using a phillips screw driver and a butter knife.

DIY FTW.
