Default removing rear and grill emblems

i'm trying to get them off to paint them, and ive heard that for rear you get a flathead screwdriver with the tip wrapped in cloth and slowly pry around the emblem to loosen it. is it the same procedure for the grille emblem? thanks

I hear you heat it up with a blow dryer. I have never heard anyone say that you want to use a screw driver.

for best results use both methods combined.....use a blowdryer and heat it up so the 3m tape comes loose and use the screwdriver to take it off......
there is an indentation were the scion emblem is so if you take it off dont expect to be able 2 leave it off without obvious signs that somnething is missing
im not sure how to take off the front one so i dont wanna give you any wrong info

Pretty sure there's a FAQ or a how-to on this.

If not, there should be!

If you do end up using a screwdriver, at least wrap the end in some painter's tape, or use a paint can key.

Could just be me, but I'd be worried about scratching the heck out of my hatch.

Screwdriver. Near. tC's Paint. =

Heat it up and try fishing line or floss. Worked for me.

dont even need to heat it up, grab a foot long piece of dental floss. slide it behind the tc emblem and work back and forth in a sawing motion. pull all the way across the back side of the emblem. use goo gone, finger nail, rubbing alcohol etc... to get excess tape off.

people he was asking for the Scion logos not the tC logo anyways for the rear use the heat and flat screwdriver with a cloth over it so you don't scratch the paint as for the front i'm not to sure on how to do that one.

Um...that's what I did for ALL the emblems. Not just the "tC" emblem.

....nope. :D

And Hyghgynx is right. The front emblem comes off just like the rear one. Just be carefull of the little tabs on the front emblem.
