which one i should go after? whole car or just body kits only? in my local shop it cost 5000 to 8000 for the whole car. 2000 to 5000 for just the body kits. They are professional at it so thats why.

i want your honest answer by telling me to go for whole car or just the body kits only. i like my bsp so i wanna keep it that way.

honest answer: they are ripping you off because you are a girl.

to paint the whole car, with jams and everything, one of the best shops here in so cal quoted me 3.5k for a tC, 4k for a 3000gt just to give you range.

to paint a body kit, should cost around 1k-1.5k, no more.

 

yeah i know its alot. i will look around for less price. they said that its costy cus its "show paint" quailty.

Out here its not anywhere near that much... maybe $500-$2500 depending on how many pieces...

 

im going after the kaminari body kits with no wing and the carbon fiber reverse cowl hood.

 

Definitely look into better pricing as stated above. One nice thing which you should consider, if you are going to paint the whole car is to make the body kit one piece. You haave to get someone ot putty and mold in the cracks of the pieces, but it looks so smooth!

i understand that most guys think that girls are the worse drivers closely to old timers but i never got into any car accidents ever since i start driving at the age of 16.. (knocked on the wooden table three times)

 

I didn't mean it like that at all, I'm just saying that if you mold the kit on there and someone hits you, or anything that damages the bumper- you're going to be in a tight spot.

 

I got quoted about 1k for just the body kit and around near 6k to paint the whole car. very professional place with a wonderful rep.

 

definitly get a 2nd, 3rd, 4th opinon... thats way to much

Ok good :D, I didn't want to seem like a jerk. There are more than enough terrible male drivers as well.

 

If you don't mind paying the extra money I say paint the entire car, no matter how well any body shop can match the paint the kit will never look the same like the rest of the car or so I have noticed in lighter colors.
