I'm trying to decide if an oem styled cf hood would ruin the car. :\

 

Ro_Ja, I don't think it would ruin the car, but it would make it less classy. IMO.

 

YES!! it will.. right now, you look ball'n.. when's the last time you saw a VIP car with a cf hood although they may need it alot more than us..

I wish I could get Recaros or Brides, but I don't want the hassle or trying to find someone to make me brackets and I don't want to run generic ones that aren't made for the seat. I was looking at getting the Sparco Chrono Road. I also need something comfortable since I frequently drive between NorCal and SoCal, which is a 6-7 hour drive.

I was mistaken, the sports are the 17lbers. Not bad at all, lighter is better. I don't know what the stockers weigh either, but I have swapped the seats out and they feel significantly heavier than 17lbs.

That's not me actually. I was pretending to be a well known and high paid automotive photojournalist. After I was done driving and shooting that crappy tC, I was going to be flying off to Europe to spend a little time with a top secret Ferrari or something.
