hey guys so i deicided to do a retro i already got the parts except the bulbs, i know my tsx projectors will use d2s bulbs ,but looking around i noticed philips makes them but only in 5000k , i know this is like "oem" but then i saw http://www.xenondepot.com/product.php?product_id=42 these are d2s bulbs but in 6500k but hows the quality of these ? i know it will slightly affect light output or shoould i just go with the 5000k philips ?, any thoughts will be greatly appreciated thanks guys

i say go 5k b/c OEM manufacturers have tolerances that aftermarket bulbs don't have so you get exactly what rating your supposed to get. xenondepot is a great place to buy bulbs btw

you will loose alot of output the higher you go. I believe Philips only makes 4100k, 4300k, 5000k and 6000k? I currently have Philips 85122+ bulbs meaning by the spec sheets i have 4100k? It was once told that Philips 85122+ bulbes were 5000k on another web page? Id still say i have 4300k tho. My last set of bulbs were Philips 85122 meaning 4100k? Weird.

this page says i have 4100k...
