I want to either do a retrofit, or buy a pair of 08 headlights and call it a day, but i know i would be much happier with a retrofit,

Ive been researching a hell of a lot lately, i i already have an OEM Phillips HID kit, with d2s phillips bulbs that i am currently using with my stock headlights(with some modification of course)

I dont want a crazy looking headlight, i wont paint it, i wont add led's anywhere, no halo/angel/devil eyes whatsoever

so basically im looking for a stock looking headlight with the addition of the retrofit, and perhaps clearing out the corners, but thats it

so my parts list has been slimmed down to

tsx projectors ($120 on ebay from a seller with god rep, has 3 sets)
Shrouds (???)
Cheap headlights (that i can use while i do the retrofit on my stock headlights)

so as u can see, i would roughly be spending about 300-400 dollars max

so my questions are?

Are there any other parts i need, (other than tools which i already have access to)?

And what shrouds should i go with? (i really want e46 shrouds because they cover nicely with only a minor gap left, but they cost about as much as the damm projectors, which would bump my total to over 450!! so wich shrouds offer the best coverage, without having to dish out 120 bucks!!!

about how long would u say this would take, in a total of hours? about 20 hours on and off??

Wow, I think you want to do , exactly what i want to do. I've been dying to do TSX projectors, deffinately the nicest I've ever seen. Ill be watching this thread for answers, sorry i couldn't help though.

the only thing u need left is the shroud u can use the e46 shroud or the a4..and i think theres a couple more. i personally like the e46. u also need alot of time and patience
