yeah, i have the 55w 6k, ballast is about as thick as a blackberry curve, and as long as an iphone...maybe a little shorter. Anyways, these are well worth the money. I've only had them for about 6 months and they are brighter than all my friends 35w 6k's. I give them a 10/10

Just an update!
I was pushed into a truck in front of me and dented the Ballast really deap.. But still works perfectly!! durable!

 

does anyone have problems of it not turning on? there are times when it wont turn on...and when i switch it off, and back on again.. it'll work.

 

would 55w be too much for the 06 headlights? would it be safer for me to get the 35w? tired of these silverstars burning out on me. thanks

u need a relay harness....around $20

 

35 man.. 55 is way to bright for for the 06 headlights.

 

im using one already, you think the relay is going bad? btw im using my old relay from my old HIDs.

 

Change the relay then... if you can...

 

nah man, i have 55w 6k in 05 headlights, never been flashed. and I've been behind cops and driven all throughout the cities too.

I've always thought about 55W kits, but never came around buying them are they really worth a shot or are these just a tad brighter... Plus I heard bad things a few months back from 55w kits that scared me into not buying them

 

Just an update, My hid's are giving some trouble. The passenger side bulb fails to fire up and i can hear a loud noise electrical noise coming from that side on startup.

 

Call and send it back.. Did you get 35watt or 55watt?

 

when u turn it off and on couple times can both side fire up??...

 

its the 35w.
and yeah the first time it happened, i was getting food and decided to turn them off and when i turned them back on only one fired up. i kept turning it on and off every couple seconds to see if it would fire back up and even turned my car off. after replugging the harness back in at the headlight and turning the car on it worked.

but when the pass. side doesnt turn on i have to turn my car off and flick the lights on and off to get it back on

 

i love DDM ive had my hids for 2 years now on my other car, ive been ordering from them for a while now for myself and for friends. I have a 35watt 10k for my headlights, 35watt 8k for my fogs.

 

I'm thinking about getting 10k for my headlights, and 8k for my fogs. Is there a big color difference? Cause my fogs are slightly smoked.
