I want to buy a roof fack for my tC. Im looking online and I dont see any actual kits that are pre built. I just see individual parts to build your own. Does anyone know where I can get a roof rack at. I checked yahama and thule, and didnt see anything that caught my eye.

Yakima or bust! they are pretty much the only ones that make a roof rack for the tc everything else hooks up in the rear of the car.

 

what do you mean pre built?
you obviously need to gather pieces and put them together.
yakima, thule or Inno (cheaper)

by the way....search man, it's not that difficult.

 

Just go to yakima.com. Build it online and order it in one shot.

 

I have one on the yakima, takes some fine tuning to get it on without damaging the side pillars and still utilize the sunroof.

 

Mine is fine. I use cut up inner tubes to pad the clips and I used shorter bolts in my trays and faring so the sunroof clears.

I remove in a couple minutes it by myself every winter and reinstall it with a friend helping guide it on every spring.
