Am i the only one that doesnt think the RS 1.0 grille is that cool? I frankly prefer my normal grill, i like the little chrome trim around it, and it isn't rounded on the edges as much. I dont like the pattern as much, it just looks like cheap plastic to me. Sure, I'd want to get rid of the scion emblem on ther front, but still, it's not that bad IMHO

I don't think it looks that bad. But part of it looking decent is that it's RS1 only. If everyone went around with that grill, it would suck. I've seen the xB RS2 grill (similar pattern/material) and I think it's actually quite nice.

my opinton on the rs1 grill is that it nice looking. just like all the other pieces of the rs1. i think scion needs to add something that actually does something for the car instead of making accessories color matched.

IMHO I feel that the new grills (the upper and lower), the red paint and those black 18"s make the front end of the tC look real fat and stubby. I don't know why, but it really bugs me....

Its free, do the math...

RS 1.0 package = $1775.00

Consists of:

Enkei 18' alloys 1565.00 installed
hotchkis strut bar 225.00 installed
AEM Billet tiedowns 120.00 installed
Door sills 115.00 installed

total package price 2025.00

I dont know where this misconception came about.

There are alot of things that I dont like about the RS 1 and the grille is definitely one of them... its boring to me... it would be cool if it had like a red special edition emblems some were on the bottom to the left thought. them maybe I could consider it.

I checked it out the other day. I thought the RS1.0 was going to have some body effects as well...but as for the grill I like it better. The stock is plastic the RS1.0 is thick metal. I think had it had the front lip the RS1.0 would look sweet with the grill.

To quote my dealership that sells 30 tC's/month.....

"That is the hottest Scion to come through our doors thus far..."

Everything about the RS 1.0 is "Absolutely" RED HOT!!
