I thought flames would be cool and originally I was going to do them from the front over the lettering to the back.
It never looked right so going sideways gave me more room to shape the flames.
I chose away from the intake because the oil cap would have got in the way.
I put it on a base of gunmetal as the black was boring, but you cant really see it in these shots.

I agree that the flame thing is overdone in general, but I havent seen much on scions. Also I thought the blue worked with the RS2.

i think that it looks pretty chill.. i want to do flames on my car, but somewat like ghost flames rather than painted orange or something like that...
but props to you, i like the overall design, and the masking job looks GREAT..
i cant tell from here the quality, but im assuming it must be great seein the masking job you did...
