Some dude backed into my car while it was parked and yanked out the passenger side mirror . He just sped away and I was unable to get his plates. Where can I find a replacement side mirror for a scion tc 2008 RS 4.0? (other than a dealer since I am sure they'll charge me up the @ss for a simple part)

Ebay, junkyard, etc. There's no difference in RS mirrors, just the color of the cover.

 

If you cant find any of them at a junkyard or ebay, theres always the option of getting one painted by your local paintshop. Just pick up whatever color is cheapest in OEM Side mirrors and have them color match it. Or buy a spray can of color matched paint and paint it yourself.

 

I got tired of looking for it and just ordered it from the dealer where I got my car....~$250 just for 1 side mirror!!.

I didn't want to get a cheap one from ebay and color match it, it would look tacky. RS 4.0 comes in a special gray color. Oh well, thanks for the replies anyways.

 

You could have saved money and ordered Toyota paint. There's a chance the new one won't match due to sun-fading anyway.
