just wondering if there are any rumors flying around of what color the rs2 will be?

 

Its probally a little too early for that.. maybe about 4 or 5 months from now you'll hear something.

 

No one really knows..... Even the dealers are pretty clueless on this stuff till "RIGHT" before it's announced.

 

I think that its fair to say that most of the dealers are just plain Clueless. When I bought my car, I had to educate the salesman. How sad is that?

I heard it from somewhere that it is going to be the Speedway Blue (just like the Tacoma PreRunner truck color) with curtain side airbag, new seat (suede-like?), alarm that xB RS3.0 has and a few others....

 

Yea that blue is the same thing I've been hearing but that's dissapointing to me... we already have 2 shades of blue and imo nothing beats IIP...

 

If the RS2.0 is a quasi TRD tC then i'm sold. All trd suspension, supercharger and LSD, I dont care a damn what color it is. I'd be importing one post haste.

 

SC and LSD would push it from ~16500 to way over 21000 with wheels and color matching like the RS1... I wouldn't count on that.

 

Yeah, I want them to have one with a motor upgrade or something. That would be much better than adding a fancy color. I would also like to see some leather seating and some nice badging.

I think this has been discussed before, but the tC RS 2.0 will be Blue Blitz Mica, which is a very similar color code to Speedway Blue in the Tacoma. Not exactly the same, but close.

The equipment list as of now is:

Upper/lower grill
Unique finish on standard alloy wheels
Side Curtain Airbags
Subwoofer located under the cargo area floor
Alcantara seats
Alarm with Radar Sensor
XM Satellite Radio
Numbered Badges

This information was given to me by my District Manager from Scion. The last time I saw one of these was for the xB 3.0, and it was identical to the list that has now been announced.

There can be no question about the color though...it is already showing in the order system as an available color for the tC.

 

I heard that the alcantara seats will be just like the is300's. (old model)

Oh, and it's always sooo nice being called clueless.

 

I hope it dosen't have a S/C on it, I will just pull it off and sell it and have the money go towards the turbo...heeheee.

wow... i dont know about the rest of you but that list is rather dissapointing... nothing really makes me excited about it. I mean a more rare color is cool but not worth a much bigger price tag. I'd rather do seats myself anyway. just my thoughts.

 

maybe when they put out the RS 3.0 tC it'll be something cool. IMO the Envy Green on the new xB is badass, and it took them a few years to put that out, so who knows only time will tell.

but other than that yeah, the add ons for the RS 2.0 do sound a bit disappointing at this point in time. Was hoping for some slightly more substantial upgrades.

 

If thats the shopping list for the RS 2.0....well, I dunno if the color is worth the extra loot. I mean, I'd die for one, but the extra's just don't seem all that 'extra', ya know? What doe s it compare to the RS 1.0 list?

 

Dissapointed, when comparing it to the RS xB.... It's gonna be another RS 1 tC.... nothing special but color... everything else is better on the A/M.... especially wheels.....
