so i bought these stechs a while ago and didnt have time to put them on, i was on TRDs before but wanted to go lower.

let me know what u guys think, they are still settling so im guessing it will still be lower than this

STechs are a bit too low for me. Not a huge fan. Doesn't look too bad though... even though it looks like you picked a "hell" of a day to do the swap.

 

Looks really good, I am likin it. I would love to do s techs where I live but the roads were destroy my car. I think my TRDs are as low as I will be able to go.

 

man its like this EVERYDAY over here, it the winter the lowest has been i think 34F..

 

Up here we are lucky if thats the high in the winter lol

 

100 today with 100% humidity(it was raining) know how hard a a/c has to run to keep your windows fog free, and our a/cs suck

 

yeah man today was hard, i dont think i can ever do springs again next time i rather pay a shop.. but oh well i got good results

 

did you atleast have air tools and some buddies to help?

 

even still when you look at the car it was all worth it

 

yeah we had a compressor and it was 3 of us

anybody else's s.techs noisy when going over bumbs as slow speeds. i get a metal clunking noise coming mostly from the front. ive checked everything that had to do with the install and the springs are seated properly and everything is tight but i cant find what this is. it sounds like the sway bar is rubbing on something but i cant see any indication of anything rubbing. shocks arnt blown, doesnt sounds like that.

 

looks dope, man, the s. techs are the illest drop if you decide not to go the route of coils.

 

so far im not regretting it, i wouldnt go for coils though. too much money i could actually get something else with that

 

yea true, i guess it just depends on weather you want to mod your car, or are serious about big time shows, cause you will always be asked, "coils or springs??" at the larger shows....but true, that is another 700 spent elsewhere, i love my d2's tho, and all the adjustability it gives me....love the agressive s. tech stance tho man!!
