Is rust a concern after, say, a fenderbender or side-swipe?

 

If the paint has been completely stripped of by the fender bender then yes

 

Ya, if not repaired or repainted properly.

 

yeah get that fixed quickly before it spreads, or just change the panel.

i recently got my scion fixed after half year of my accident, got side swip @ school noticed it was rusting, rust or not i had to get my entire quarter panel changed, but i feel better the rust is no longer there.

 

How long would it take to rust? SoCal weather here...

How expensive/how bad would rust get? Help!

the bumper will not rust, its plastic.
for the fender and door, just put some touch up paint on it

 

x2 on the touch up paint, just sand off the rust first

 

I think the yellow is paint from the other car/whatever... But yeah. You guys don't think we'll have to worry about rust?

 

if its paint from the other car just buff it off...
