anybody have problems with it? i got mine and i the radio is a lot more staticky

 

it's a piece of metal... get a better receiver if you still listen to AM/FM radio.

 

the only problem i have...is that busters keep stealing it...

...twice now...

i gotta get off my ___ and get some loctite or something.

 

I've had no problems with mine at all, radio comes in crystal clear when I do use it (which is pretty rare anyways). Only problem I've had is it seems to start to get static and break up earlier when I head to the Bay Area, but that is the only difference I've noticed.

 

I did notice some decrease of reception quality on some radio stations. But it's expected when you use a short/stubby antenna (compared to the long, wirey horsewhip that came as stock).

But no big deal bec I listen to sirius/cds most of the time. And the fm stations I often listen to weren't affected by the s2k antenna.

yeah you probably got the knock off. i got the real thing and my reception is clear.

 

Real thing here, perfect reception.

 

I've got the Element antenna and i haven't had any problems with it yet, i believe its the same antenna without the **** on top

 

I got the Fit version and no prob whatsoever.

 

Mine works fine :shrug: anyway I was driving the other day and a solstice had an even smaller one on it, anyway use one of these or see if it fits?

 

Everyone should get the s2000 antenna! s2000 antenna = VTEC INSIDE! =)

lol what shopping around needs to be done? Its only 20 bucks straight from the dealer lol just dont steal one, too many people on here take them and its giving us a bad name

 

prices will vary from dealership to dealership, and from model to model depending on which version you ask for (S2000, Element, Fit, Civic Hybrid, etc....)

 

lol dealer askin for 32$. i wouldve already gotten it for 20$ lol

Is the Minicooper stubby the same as the S2000 stubby. On ebay I found a stubby that said Mini and Scion TC Stubby made by Perrin. Thanks guys
