so i went down to honda the other day and bought an s2000 antenna... at least i think it is. it fits and is about the same size as the ones i've seen but it has these weird raised ridges running down it (5 in total). did honda change the design for the 2009 models or did the guy give me something else?

It has a series of "rings" on it. Not smooth, like the 1st Gen antennas.
I saw it on a pre-owned S2K we had on our used car lot.

nope. the ridges run the length of the antenna.

like $25 so its a little more expensive than normal too.

 

u didnt get a s2k antenna u got a civic hybrid antenna. the hybrid came out with 2 types of antennas one with rings goin aroudn tot he top and then 5 ridged lines goin up. the s2k is smooth all the way till the top as well as the 02-05 si and element and sum CRVs

 

what an idiot!! i said straight to his face S2000 ANTENNA and he grabs this. whatever, at least it fits.
