As everyone says. "Im looking to get a Scion tC." I wanted to know if the Scion logo in the rear is glued on, or bolted on. Because I think a white car with a black logo would like good. If it's glued on it will be a little more tricky. Like im pretty sure I cant use Elmers school glue to put it back on.

 

it is glued on.... if you wanted it black you could cover the rest of the car and paint it black with some resin paint.

 

Here's the skinny...

Rear "Scion" Emblem- Held into place with alignment pins and double-sided adhesive.
Rear "tC" Emblem- Held into place by adhesive only.
Front "Scion" Emblem- Held into place with alignment pins and adhesive.

All can be removed with the "tC" Emblem being the easiest. Heat up the emblems (with a hair dryer) and use either floss (YES! Floss!) or fishing wire. Use a sawing motion on the adhesive and cut away. Just be aware of the alignment pins. When re-applying, just use heavy duty automotive double-sided adhesive.

Thanks so much. But alighment pins? are they like plastic or metal. So when i do pull it off will their be 2 holes where the logo goes?

 

It won't matter either way, because the rear logo is recessed into the body work. So if you full on shave the emblem, it will look like someone stole your emblem.
