um.. only thing i see is that the housing is clean.. other than that...

demon eyes dont light up even as seen w/ the 3 dim dots, they look like hyperwhite... not led.. hmm.. not even at all.. makes it look homeade... ive seen better curtain rod halo's..

nice cutoff? i guess my computer puts extra light in the middle and makes the cutoff uneven. looks like youd have a major "hotspot" right out front.. i dont see even distrobution of light coming out of these... IMO, they're cheap cheap projectors

and the square reflector deal on the blinker has me wondering WTF you were thinking..

im not impressed at all.. if your going to make a product, take note to what people want.. search the forums.. EVEN led halo's, quality projetors, bosch would be a great choice, led eyebrow, projection style high beam, ect ect..

sorry to be so harsh, they are cheaply made and i sure as hell can tell...

end rant.. begin flame

^^^ Same here....One question "Jlevi" would our own HID kits work with these or do we have to purchase the HID's you have for option in order to work?

I'm sure if you were to ask the bulb size your own bulbs/HID set could be implemented.

HID's in these is gonna make the cutoff worse.. i dont see the infactuation you people have w/ cheap projectors and HID's and 6000K+ junk hid bulbs.. your not even close to OEM hid/projector quality... your so far from it.. putting hid's in housings designed for halogen is one of the wrongest ways to go about it.. if you want this so bad, do a retro... my main rant about this (the wrong way) is the glare that i have to put up w/ from these types of setups.. drives me nuts.. if there was no glare, i could care less, but man, nothing ____es me off more than a ball of unaimed, un focused, un even, bright purple wall of light coming from a wanna-be setup... ggrrrr..

ok, good luck and have fun..

From our experience, nobody here is willing to PAY for quality bosch projectors. We sell BMW headlights for $700 that have OEM like cutoff and flawless build quality. We sell Bosch and ZKW headlights. But over here, it seems that customers expect a full headlight set for $250 or less, and for that price, you simply WILL NOT get a ready made headlight with top quality projectors, CCFL angel eyes, perfect cutoff, and perfect build quality. If you want to spend $400 on the headlight housings alone, then I can help you with it.

Sorry to rant but it is very frustrating that customers email me and tell me the price is too high and the quality is too low.. I apologize for the outburst.

Anyways... These headlights are awesome for road use, they will get a lot of light down on the road, and we are offering them for only $260!

Thanks
JL

Well said! Keep in mind the average age of the people on here. The fact is, these lights are muuch better than the "other" eBay ones and the price has been kept low too.

I see this all too often on this site where people will talk like they're so ready to drop all this money that they never plan to follow through on. The funny thing is, it's almost invariably in situations just like this where someone actually puts forth an effort, makes a substantial outlay, and actually comes through with a finished product rather than delays and empty promises, and everyone thanks him by jumping all over his s**t. There's a huuge difference between constructive feedback and the blatant flaming of someone who has gone out of their way to do the Scion Community a favor.

The way I see it, all you haters have two options. You can either spend the money on a retro-fit, or you can sit around and wait for someone else to make new lights. And let me tell you, the latter becomes less and less likely with each pathetic display of immaturity as can be seen in this thread.

I'm not singling you out, REaL. This is just a general observation that I've seen time and again on this site, and it goes for everyone here who has nothing to say but to talk trash. If you actually have $700 to drop on an HID setup, then you are the exception and I'm not calling you a bullsh***er.

Thanks, JL. They're not quite my style either (I happen to think the stock lights are perfection), but I thank you for putting forth the effort that you did, and I hope that you don't let these "kids" discourage you from making more cool parts for our cars.

from the perspective of running HID's lights with out any projectors in general (which Ive done for the past few months now) isnt bad at all. Adding any kind of projectors should improve any level of cut off rather then not having projectors. I have driven infront of my own car and its definetly anooying but its not blinding. I think adding anything to non projecot setups if your running HID's would help

i also agree with GetCaughtDead. all the criticism means nothing when nobody puts up the money anyway. but that's the essence of any internet communication. anonymity leads to all sorts of things people would never say if they could be ID'd.

anyway, i hope the projectors are nice. keep it up.

dont get me wrong guys, i completely agree and give mad props for putting a product out there w/ out delays and ready to ship at a low price.. and i didnt mean to sound mean or rude but i was just stating the facts..

could it be made so that the housing would come w/ X projector but able to buy an adapter to house a higher quality one? and maybe a ready to use HID wire harness w/ it as well as an option.. i like how you have them out there as an option to ebay ones, but can you have options on the option? IE.. CCFL or led halos, projector swaps, hid harnesses, ect ect.. or would that basicly be on the same page as people not wanting to pay over $100 for some lights?

I would only buy an hid set up if it was done right... (sharp cut off with no hot spots). So far the only way to do that is a retro, which I dont want to do. Im not bashing the headlights that JL has produced for the tC, they actually look pretty good. But I would rather spend the extra money for the proper set up. Im no bullsh*ter... and would drop the money for the right set up if it was offered.
