My friend got me these for Christmas and i just got them in today. The bulbs are H1 bulbs, for both Hi and Lo beams.
The halos are lit up by 3 bulbs for the lows and 2 bulbs for the highs (the same wedge bulbs that illuminate the lows in the stock setup). The halos may seem dim because they route all the bulbs off one connector, not sure if they would be brighter if you hook up more connectors from your car to it. I have two 12V LEDs that i mite put into the high beam halos to see how it looks.
I see the adjuster screws, but no one has posted pics of adjusted cutoff's yet, so i may have to try it to see how it looks.
They lights do look nice though, even though i havent installed them yet.
How come no one mentioned that the bulbs were H1, cuz i ordered a set of 9006 HID's and now have to return it to get the H1 HID kit...grrrr.

Let me know if any info is incorrect.

hahaha..it was a present :-P. Are the JLevi's really THAT bad? i plugged them in and it seemed ok. I'll have to try using some LED's for the halos, see if that does any better .

Got my JLevis today and everyone says that the halos are dim. Here is a pic of them hooked up to my car (but not installed).

I tried to replace the regular bulbs with LED's, to see if it gets brighter.

It does look brighter with LED's...but notice the eyebrow doesnt light up as well. That may also be due to the fact that i took the picture with the headlights at eyelevel (i had my cam on a mini tripod in front of the headlights in my apt floor). It does seem brighter, but you still dont get uniform lighting all the way around. The cheapy ebay ones seem to do the angel eyes correctly. Of course, i havent seen any pics of the cutoff on the cheapy ebay ones that everyone talks about.

The halos just don't seem bright enough. Is there anyway to overload them with leds, or possibly put in other halos?

The rings need to be notched better, to make light fully refract around the halo.

And no the projectors themselves don't suck... the halos do though. I'm happy with my Prolumen 6ks with his projectors...

I want to do the 6K . I just want good projectors to do it with . I have seen good things here about JLevi but , not so much interest on the projectors they sell . That is what makes me wonder

explain

have you had these???

have u had their horrible light output in front of ur car as the only means of lighting up the road??
i have and thus my statement was made. i hated them so much i went back to stock and put hids in the stock housing and have 100% more output.. sooo my statement stands

Jlevi's projectors SUCK, the housing looks good, the rings are garbage and they fog up.

all in all

THEY SUCK
