I got into a wreck last year...and I damaged the Rear Apron of my Kenstyle Body Kit....None of the shops in this area can seem to fix this little piece of Plastic. Toyota wants to charge me about $1300 for a rear apron but it won't be the same one....I don't know they gave me a run around! Does anyone know where I can get the original Kenstyle Body Kit or just the rear apron for the RS3.0???

 

go to a different dealer. toyota will sell you one.

for $1300, which rear apron were they trying to sell you? That seems about right for the price of an RS3 lip.

 

Might check to see if this is still available - was back in December, but never updated to say it was sold. Never know, worth a shot.

Thanks for the response...I actually e-mailed that guy. He sold the Rear Apron! But Luckily I found someone who is going to fix the original one....I'm dying to get my car back to perfect shape!

 

Do I want to know why this isn't going through insurance and you wouldn't need to worry about how much the part costs from the dealer?

(which as TQT pointed out, that would be about right for the RS3 kit... they're expensive on purpose)
