i want a badgeless upper grill but i dont know what kind to get. i dont want to pay too much for it because i dont think its worth paying 100$ for a piece of plastic. is there any kind that is cheap and looks good?

there is the RS2 which is pricey and also the RS1 which idk about the price but ebay has some fake ones that are similair, seriously save your money so you can buy the VRD top and bottom grills so they can match.

 

Ive heard before of people using the OEM lower and modding it to work in the upper position... Of course you'd need a spare lower...

But I like AcidDrops idea, go w/ the VRD, I have to Titanium ones and they rock!...

It's one of my favorite comestic mods...nice fitment and price point.

 

Get an OEM lower grill and do it yourself. Cost me 30 bucks and a little labor but I love the look.

 

Wow is that two bottoms ones? I didn't think the lower grill fit in the upper grill

 

^^ it won't. you have to do a little dremel work and zip tie it into place, but if you take your time and do it right, it comes out great.

 

yes and if he isn't sure on how to do it then he could mess it up and spend on it for nothing. his safe beat is getting VRD's top and bottom grills that just snap in.

This is the Titanium one, but it also comes in black and Chrome....I did the lower-to-upper grille mod and eventually went with this set, the ONLY downside is that the VRDs don't have the Chrome surround like our OEM grilles...but I got used to it, lol...

 

I wasn't sure either. I just looked at it, worked slowly, and figured it out along the way. To each their own tho. VRD grills are way back ordered now anyway aren't they?

 

hmm..is there a diy on how to make the bottom grille fit the top grill? lol i dont want to stumble into something i cant fix..

 

 

make your own out of an extra lower grill. get a dremel, some zipties and a little elbow grease and have at it:

 

for vrd, the black ones are the only ones that are on backorder. titanium and chrome (ick) are both in stock.

 

^or you can always paint it black.
