Default SERIOUS HELP - Debadge My tC?

Hey everyone. Tonight I was driving to eat and to make a medium sized story short a Silverado pulled up to my side and guess what those hicks did next!

Yup, stomped on the gas. So what did I do? Stomped on the gas. Honestly, it was neck to neck the whole road. Trucks have power man. Not that I didn't know that already, but yeah.

I know that if my huge ___ Scion logo wasn't on my trunk, those rednecks wouldn't of even noticed that it was a Scion and would have just drove normally and not tried to flyby me before they went home to make love to their cows.

Don't get me wrong. I love racing people that love cars, love tuning cars, but also respect other racers/tuners/drivers. If I was at a red light and some guy/chick pulled up next to me in an Eclipse/Mustang/GTI.. whatever, and asked if they wanted to go, awesome. Let's do it. They know cars, they love cars. Cars are they're passion. They'de know my car was a tC even if it was debadged!

But when some rednecks pull up and stomp on the gas, just because I have a Japanese coupe.. that bothers me. Even to myself I sound worked up about this, but it really bothered me.

To make a long question short (lol) should I debadge my tC, or just leave it wearing Scion pride?

Thanks to everyone who listened to my rant.

sorry to hear that it really bothered you, man. it bothers me too sometimes.

there are always going to be people who are prejudice and ignorant. some comments and opinions are even stemmed from racism. very prodimant in the south.

i say take it with a grain of salt and just ignore it. be strong because you know you're the better person.

good post mr_valentine, but honestly racing belongs on the track if some idiot pulls up to you and wants to race who cares, wave him off and move along. I also wouldnt debadge the logo just for that reason. JMO

Here is a picture of my debadged FM.

Personally I think it looks good either way, but I took mine off because I caught someone trying to steal it and I didn't want my car damaged.

First of all, you should feel good, that SUV probably wasted anywhere from 10 - 20 bucks on that little race.

Second of all, Scion is the ____, and leave that badge on. Its not like you bought a S430 and took it off so that you can tell people its and S600.
