Default ShadOwMOnk's Grill/HID projector project

i finished the HID projectors about 2 weeks ago, it looks great..took me about 2 hrs to aim them. sorry i couldn't take any pictures of the install, i couldn't find my camara anywhere. but i took some pictures with my cellphone. sooo it might look crappy.

i finished the grill lastnight, took me about 2 hrs. but hey it looks sexy..right now the grill is just metal color..uh sliver lol. i'm going to paint them glossy black whenever i get around to doin that. i only had time to do the top grill. the bottom grill is my next project. i've also put an s2k antenna

here are some pics..ill try and take some more pictures when i get a chance.

let me know what you guys think of it.. thanks

hmmm well the grill will probably look better black cause right now on the car it reminds me of an AC filter.
Fog Lights look good, need some better shots though

are you sure those are hid projectors and not halogen? i didn't know es300 had hid...i thought only the new es330 had it...the older body style had halogen projectors i belive.

it sure looks like halogen projectors after a closer look...halogen<HID...but still better than stock i suppose.

if you can fit 9006 bulbs in the projectors, then they are not hid. you can still put a hid kit in there, and get better results than if you put hid in the stock housing. but if you were to go thru the trouble of baking and retrofitting, why not buy the real deal and get real hid projectors instead?

and is it just me, or are the projectors off centered? maybe its the angle of the pictures.

yeah the projectors we NOT aimed yet in those pictures. i finished aiming them today. yeah i wanted to get TSX projectors but i was kinda broke. and my friend bought a set of Lexus ES300 headlights for the projectors. each headlights came with 2. so he took them out and cut them, he gave me a pair and kept a pair. he put his projectors into his stock civic housing with a 6000k hid kit. which looks really nice. and it gave me the idea to do it for my car. and plus in Va i'm the only person whos done retrofit projectors so far. and same for the civic. soo yeahh i pretty much got the projectors for free. and didn't fell like selling them. so i retrofit them into my car.

and maxumus96 i saw you where selling your headlights i wanted to buy them but i'm seriously broke. with a new born baby boy and all. but anyways. ever since i saw your post on the retrofit of the projectors made me want to do it to my car.great job by the way.

humm i guess this post i really long.. mybad
