I just figured I would start up excitement...maybe. I am getting my passenger side A-C pillar repainted, and they are going to go ahead and take off the antenna! I can't wait, June 16th is the date it happens, I'll be sure to get plenty of pics!

 

Im sure its gonna look hot. Ive had dreams of doing it. Are you going to get one put into the rear hatch glass or something?

Mine is too, i have a friend at a dealer, but they are grinding down the paint, filling in the dents, pulling off the antenna and filling it in, and then painting it. All in all its gonna be around $150, and it should take a day, maybe two

I wanna shave me too...I never use the Radio....I only use my Sirius or CD's or MP3 PLayer.

hmmm. jw how they could do all that and paint for $150.
how do they plan on painting because i would think theyd have to paint the whole side panel of the car or its gonna look a lil wierd...

 

They are going to grind the whole pillar down, repaint it, and blend it

and thats a friends price :D

 

well hopefully they do a good job blending.
i was working on a project a while ago to make an antenna plug (kinda like the keyhole plugs)
but it was to time consuming and could never get it just right so i abandoned that one. lol

Just an update, Mobius Zero went into the body shop today, I pick it up at 17:00 tomorrow, without an antenna

Just got a call from the body shop, the antenna IS shaved, the pillar has been repainted, and the Viniati spoiler has been put on! I pick it up at around 5 CST
