Shots of my tC ...time to move on to the next project

The new toy is a 1951 Chevrolet 3100 1/2 Ton Pickup Truck with a 216 straight six and a three on the tree.
Runs great, needs body work.

Nope. Didn't sell it. I just feel I have it to a point where I'm done modding. Little things here and there maybe but the stereo is done, the suspension is done and the engine/FI is done. If I do any more big stuff I'm afraid it won't be reliable enough to be a daily driver anymore.
Really?! Were they in St. Louis? This spot was a totally random stop at a buddy's office on the way to a meet.
lol. Thanks!

Its homemade using a bottom grill, the trim from a top grill and a bunch of zipties. Its not the best job, I should replace it with an actual VRD grill but there are so many zipties holding my lip together, the wheel well liners in, and the bumper on that it kinda matches. lol.
THANKS!
Cool! I'd like to see it if you have a link. There are a handful of modded tC's here in St.L but it seems like they're all blue, sept for maybe one or two.

^ I do too and I plan on leaving the patina but there's a ton of body rot under there. Both sides inner and outer cowls, passenger side inner to outter cowl/hinge plate, both sides inner and outer cab corners and both floor halves need to be replaced or at least patched. I'm picking up a welder soon and I'm considering leaving the welds on all the new sheet metal visible.
The interior will probably eventually get done in a gray tweed and white faux ostrich skin with the original champagne/taupe colored dash paint.

Yup. NBM.
I think I'm gonna slam it, funds permitting, I might bag it.

That truck is beautiful...so jealous. I had my heart set on this '54 3100 a couple months ago. My wife, not so much! If you are bagging it, are you going for the s-10 frame swap? Seems to make things way easier.
Yup. If I go that route I'll do the S10 frame swap and use the power steering, power brakes, AC and tilt steering. Part of me wants to keep it more original and just get a drop axle in front and add blocks (maybe also remove a leaf or two) to the rear.
