So here's the dealyo; I have a dent from someone's door right on my bodyline. I don't feel like spending the money to paint so I thought why not get a stripe. My car is F/M and the stripe would be silver so not drastic. I know I'm opening myself up to some serious flage here, but at the same time I am so sick of this dent. And yes I would be able to keep it above the dent. This is what I was debating.

id rather have a car full of dents than that thing, save up and do it right, fix it when u can. It make take awhile but it will be like a new car when u get it fixed and u will feel good again, just like u did when u bought it. You will still think about the dent, even with that thing on. Trust me, I know the feeling.

 

Don't be stupid on wasting your money on Fast and the Furious bull ____ instead of fixing a dent.

I'd take the dent over that vinyl any day,

i'd say your choice. i have something not as much as that and i love it on my car, catches people's attention. i get ish for it, but hell its doing your own thing, rather than looking like every other tC in the world

 

ok, so you have a dent on your bodyline...

just take corrective measures. it is fixable.

i had a dent in my bodyline on my passenger door. it was noticeable and pretty bad. i took it into dent busters last week and they pulled it and another dent i had on my driver's rear fender for $99 total.

think of the long run. do you want to spend some money to get the dent out, or do you want to spend some money on vinyl and have the value of the car depreciate a little more because of the exterior condition of the car?

 

I have no problem with Vinyl. But I would check with Dent Doctor or some such place. They might be cheaper then the Vinyl.

OK, I won't go vinyl. I really should look into paintless dent removal. But, the I would never get to say cool things like..."I live life ten seconds at a time.".

 

And that way people will still want to talk to you. Win/Win

 

Do not put vinyl stripes on the tC. Pinstripes maybe, but not like you showed in the picture. Just spend the extra money and get it done right. Dents are going to happen, so just either fix it or leave it, but don't cover it.

 

^^ dents show through either way (and so does rust if you look at old hondas lol)
