hahaha no offense to current owners- I loved it when it first came out (LOVED IT). But after a year or so of looking at it...I decided really don't like the front lip

Funny..at first I hated the OEM front but now it's completely vice versa.

5Axis designed it so it extends the lines of the tC..but IMO they did just that- it looks like it was just blandly designed. the OEM front seems to better compliment the lines of the tC, making it look more aggressive w/o trying to look hardass

If the front OEM wasn't available, I think I'd stick to stock OR 5axis. The others aren't up to par w/ quality and design

how is the front lip secured?

 

5axis kit looks so damn nice on all cars but SW.. I don't know why.

The first gen kits are only 3m stick tape, the second version have 3 nuts molded into the lip and you drill through the bottom of your bumper and screw the lip to your bumper, along with still having the 3m tape in addition!

 

hmmm don't really know that I am much of a fan of that now.

 

What was first gen? I had the kit since the beginning of its public release. The kit came with 3M and nuts and bolts, however. The nuts and bolts were in a separate bag along with an individual bracket that needed to be installed.

 

Are there any Black Cherry tCs with this kit?!

The first batch just came with 3m tape no nuts molded into the lip (had a little problem w/ falling off from customers not prepping well I guess)

ive had mine since it came out too and the front has never fallen off. it just has 3M tape and the the bolts on each side and holds firm. i have also scraped the crap of the bottom and still holding strong.
