I was just wondering if anyone has suggestions. I wanted to know if you put side graphics all along the car does it ruin the paint or will it still be new paint when the rest has faded around it? Should you not put them on brand new paint? Im not sure and was just wondering if anyone had suggestions?

 

i think it'd look real slick... as long as u don't put played out flames or dragons on it. There's a graffiti tC in Modified Magazine that i think i real sharp.

 

Anybody know where to get the graphics from? can we make it at home from a "school supplies store"? just wondering.. i am planning on doing something.. help...

 

http://www.decaldriveway.com or http://www.modernimage.com are two sources. do a google search on "car vinyl graphics" or something similar and you get a bazillion places. just be sure to get top quality 3m vinyl and your graphics will last for years. i had black stripes on my miata before i got nutty and did a body kit & custom paint. the stripes were there for 7 years and looked great the whole time (and stripes go on the hood/trunk, which gets the most sun).

i plan to do graphics on my tC, too....

 

quick question about graphics, when you took of your graphics did the paint still match to the paint that was under the decal

The vinyl will not mess your paint off. Later when you take the vinyl off the paint behind the vinyl will be brighter because the sun has not been hitting it every day like the rest of the car.

I would sugggest www.houseoftints.com they do some really nice graphics.

The best graphics I have seen on a TC is on this car. I love the graphics they are extremely clean.

I had some graphics in mind, just wanted to know about the paint. If I take them off after a year, how long will it take the other paint behind the graphics to fade to the same color? Or will it always be different?

 

I reccomend that you only leave the graphics on for up to six months. Otherwise there is a good chance that you will see the unfaded paint when you finally remove them.

 

I just took my graphics off over the weekend, they were on for 7 months. There was no fading or any problems at all, it looks like new still. Now time for a new design!

 

I put side graphix on my tc, including the scion sticker above the driver side wheel well.....
