Default Side Mirror Vibration on tC

Hello,

The driver side rearview mirror glass vibrates pretty badly when I am driving down the road, due to the vibrations on the pavement. No music being played or anything, just road texture causes it to vibrate.

I've searched, and cannot find any fixes for this. I've heard that there are some fixes available. I've taken it to the dealership and they've replaced the whole mirror assembly, and it still vibrates. There must be something else wrong.

Can someone help me, please. If you know of any fixes, please let me know.

Sig

The driver side mirror on my car vibrates much more noticeably than the other mirrors. Actually, I can't recall noticing that either of the other mirrors vibrate.

I think there's a fix out there for this issue. Just couldn't find it in the forums.

Which screws did you tighten? Which cover did you remove to tighten them? Could you be more specific, please?

Thanks,

Sig

Mine don't vibrate, only from music.

My dad's Vette however, that mirror is shakin' it from just idling!

well depending on road conditions...

most, if not all, mirrors will vibrate like that... only thing you can really do is probably tighten them.

hmm... wondering if sound deadening the door or the whole car will work as vibration dampers too..

Thanks for the info, Mac.

I'll tighten those screws and see if that helps.

Have a good one,

Sig
