side skirt help
ok i searched and i couldnt find any info on this. i may just be a crappy searcher idk.
i bought a body kit and its going pretty good but the side skirts are going to be a huge problem. if im not mistaken they clip in under the door section. other than that theres like 4-5 bolts that hold it on. Correct me if im wrong, but 4 bolts wont hold the weight if some1 would to accidently put some weight on it.
i guess the real question is how much room is there to work around with. would i have to create rivits in there to clip in with teh stock ones?? or mod it to remove those, but then the problem above wouldn't be solved. i bought a kaminari kit ( as far as i kno, i kno theres a lot of fakes out there but it seems to fit pretty good just a bit of adjusting ). Any suggestions on getting them on would be GREAT!!
thanks!

It'd be easier to gauge the work involved if I had pics of the backside of the new skirts, so I'll give my input based on swapping to the oem skirts:
If you have to remove the stock ones, there are 3 phillips screws and about 5 plastic clips. The black clips have a center pin which you have to pull out, use a right angle pick tool. Once those are out, open the door and start pulling from the back wheel wells and work forward. The back half is held on clipping into a black plastic rail but the front uses white circular clips like you find in the doors, etc.
If they go on over the stockers, the supplied bolts and a long strip of 3m double sided tape in the sills is probably enough to keep them on. Just make sure you clean the surfaces you're going to tape with rubbing alcohol first.
