side view mirror

Default side view mirror

i got into a little incident and the side view mirror just broke. the housing is just hanging on the car and mirror is gone. should i replace the whole thing or can i just buy a new mirror and try to attach the old housing. so far its just hanging on the wire and the signal light doesnt work. HELP ME i need advice im totally lost

Just replace the whole thing. You can get a new one color matched and shipped for about $150 from mcgeorgeparts.com.

Thought eBay is another place to look too.

is there a guide to taking off the sidemirrors? All I found was a guide to replace the bulb.

well, it isn't really something that you replace that often unless you break it, they don't burn out like bulbs.

Open your door.
Pull off plastic triangle inside door.
Remove 3 10mm nuts.
Unplug power connection.
Remove mirror.

It's cake.
