i wanted to replace my amber turn signals with some silver star refective coated ones, i searched but couldnt find what size bulb the turn signals are, also i wnet to advanced autoparts and showed them my bulb and they didn have any that size.... what size bulb is the turn signal in the tc? where can i buy some silver star, or other reflective coated bulbs?

I haven't been able to find the SilverStar turn signals in our size. Doesn't mean they don't exist...

 

get rid of the eye booger amber turn signal lights! replace with a 7440 clear bulb.. and you're set for life! replaced mine last weekend. looks soo much cleaner!

but don't you want the yellow cuz it matches that lil reflector on the sides of our headlight assembly?

 

dono bout the rest of the country.. but in NJ... its a hefty fine.... 230 smackers for my bud who got busted last week. I dono if it was just for the signals.. cuz he had a few other illegal things done to his car..
NJ SUCKS>> no tint... no lights... nothing!!!!!
oh well i have mine on anyway... gonna vinyle the covers so they look orange in the day.. but they'll be white at night!! hehe

 

The law is that the light coming out of the bulb needs to be some shade of yellow.

is it possible to replace the bulbs in the side mirrors? i thought i heard somewhere it was very difficult/damn near impossible to do it.. i could be wrong though.

 

while we are on the topic of bulbs. anyone know the style bulbs that are in the foglights? i havnt been able to find info on it anywhere and i dont really wanna crawl under my car while there is 2 feet of snow on the ground.

 

the silver stars look like the ones you posted but i just havent been able to find them in the right size, i think im just gonna buy the ones from car domain thanks for all the help!

its something like hardwired to it...

buy the modified ones from tctunerz.

 

um, nah that's okay i'll pass on spending that much on a product that looks worse than the stock mirror turn signals and is still amber-colored anyway.


but yea that sucks.. wish they had just made little snap off pieces of plastic over the bulbs on the mirrors.

i bought these. i think they might be OK.

 

You're worried about how the BULB looks? It's chromed so it blends in with the reflector.

 

Any updates on finding the silverstars?

 

i dont know anythingabout headlights. if was going to order one, is it xenon or halogen? or are they the same?
