slammed tC serviced at toyota dealers
i have a brake problem and my dealer doesn't want to work on my car cause its too low to make the lift. I'm too lazy to adjust the coils.. Any suggestion on what I could do to convince my dealer to do it? Should i bring ramps for them to use or wood piles?
i say get off your lazy @$$ and adjust the coils. brakes are one of the most important parts on your car and why waste all that time and energy avoiding the issue when you could damage your tc even worst.
anyway, no your dealership probably won't work on it under those conditions anyway because it is an extreme safety risk i would imagine. so adjust the coils and be done with it.

he cant even adjust his coils... and you guys expect him to do his brakes??? hahaha...
to the original poster... i agree with draxcaliber... get off your lazy a$$ and adjust your coils...

You're dealer sucks
. I've got a 3" drop with Tein S-Techs and the dealer i go to has no problem. I've even put it on a lift at my school, only 1 style lift at my school worked tho, the twin post lifts wouldn't clear my side skirts
.
if you're going through the trouble of piling wood at the dealer or bringing them ramps, you might as well roll your car up on those piles or ramps and raise the coils... as stated above
he isnt about to change his own breaks, he doesnt even want to raise his coils... as stated above
and stechs are what? 2in drop? someone got some f-techs or got "brave" with their springs... also stated above
:D
seriously tho
suck it up and raise it a couple inches. you're going to waste more time and effort trying to get them to do it than if you just do what they ask and get it done. You could just not raise them, not change the pads, and squeel and grind all around town. That'd look/sound cool on a slammed tC
