i'm considering buying new tails for my flint mica tC... right now i have the OEM tails with bluebat's red-out overlay. i'm thinking of going with the whole smoked look for my car... my front headlight reflectors are smoked, the car is FM as i said, and i have black glossy rims w/ a polished lip as well as tinted windows. any thoughts? btw, these are very reasonable prices but the products seem to be at least average in terms of quality. if anyone has experience with either of these tails, feel free to post!

I've read about some of the LEDs burning out rather quickly on both of those tails. Remember, 'you get what you pay for'. You should look for another set of OEM tails or TYCs used. (You may not like either one for looks but for quality, they just can't be beat.) Then you can tint them yourself. Its not that hard at all. I sprayed my TYCs with red lens paint. Peeps are always tinting their tails with Niteshades also. (Do a seach on 'niteshades".) I would say you could do all that for well under $100. One last thing, if you tint the tails you might as well tint the 3rd brakelight. That way the whole back end will look clean.

 

If you want really dark smoked tails I wouldn't go with the first link. Someone I know recently got those smoked chrome anzo's and they arn't nearly as dark as the picture shows them to be. Unless you get another set of BlueBat's 6/10 smoked overlays I wouldn't recommend them.

 

I have had the Anzos for a month and they haven't burned out yet. I also sell VHT Night Shades, hit me up!

my tails are smoked to color match my BCP. Just waiting for my full TBL to get here so I can smoke that as well...

but yeah, someone I know in Ga had those first tails half the LED's burned out after about 3 months or so. I'm not sure if he did something wrong or not though.

 

the Sonar Altezza ones are junk.

 

^^ To ilovemytC: Did you buy the allready smoked Anzos or just use the overlays with the regular Anzos? And where did you buy them if you don't mind me asking, I was considering someone off of ebay.

 

I bought them from a guy on eBay who bought them from Kazespeed on eBay. I smoked em out with BlueBat's 3/10 overlay.
