no you wont have to remove the rear bumper. All you have to do is remove the outside bolt to the bumper in the wheel well. You gain access to the outside bolt to the tail light that way. You can probably use 3m tape to reapply the emblems.

I definitely didn't remove my tails when I swapped them out. Just be careful not to scratch your paint.. I have like a quarter inch scratch in the paint from where I tried to pull the stock ones out! But as for the emblems, just shave em off! haha

^^How do you swap tails without removing them?

If you are careful enough when removing the emblems, you can probably re-use the adhesive that's on them already. Otherwise, do like Zendog said and get some 3M double sided tape.

your wording is really HORRIBLE.

you DO have to remove the bumper.. however what you mean is that you don't have to remove the bumper completely.

that's just being lazy at that point, because you have to manipulate the rear bumper to pry the top part enough to pull the taillight out... (which in turn actually negates the laziness part since that adds more work for you to do..)

instead of spending a few extra seconds to remove a few more screws so you can remove the bumper completely out of the way..
