Default So i want a Five Axis kit...

I had a little internat struggle but have decided to go with a local dealership (Scion of Bellevue) instead of TRDsparks.com/ Five Axis website. My thought process is that for a little more, if there are any problems I can deal with the dealership rather than over the phone, do you guys agree w/ me on this that this was the best course of action?

well the general rule of thumb is you get what you pay for. so hopefully by spending a little more and going to your dealership, you'll get more personalized care. and prolly a good warranty.

My dealership didn't want anything to do with my 5axis lip. They suggested going somewhere else, including purchasing and installing of the lip.
If they're reputable/helpful then go with em.

josh will help you out erik, omg, i can't believe you're even asking this

josh listens to me talk about doing ____ and then he's like 'wtf, don't you not have any money?' and i'm like 'yeah... so?' and he rolls his eyes and chuckles a bit.

seriously.

Yeah, Josh is a great guy and I know he would take care of me, I just wanted to see what the consensus was....I have talked to other dealerships but Josh @ Scion of Bellevue & Doug @ Beaverton seemed to be the only local dealerships interested in the Five Axis brand around here. Another dealership said: "Yeah I think we can order one of those if you really want one." <--didn't impress me.

I have found that TRDSparks' customer service is excellent. So even though you would be dealing with them over the phone or email, I'm sure they would take care of any problems you may have. Plus, like mentioned above, sometimes dealers want nothing to do with aftermarket parts

ive never had a problem with TRD Sparks. When I was missing a few tiny pieces and clips, they sent them right out to me. Talk to Jamie at TRDsparks.com

Yup. I appreciate the input from everyone but just don't want to risk it on that large of a purchase. If it get damaged in shipping them it has to be sent back, then inspected, then another one shipped out. Instead of the same process with my money in my pocket still . I don't doubt TRD sparks, as I have ordered stuff from them before, it just makes me nervous to order a $900 part from someone across the country, when I can pay a little more drive 20 minutes, and grab someone by the shirt collars if something is wrong <---just a figure of speech
