Someone keyed my hood...what to do?
So some punk decided to key the hoods of several cars in my neighborhood...apparently mine was one of the unlucky victims... so just deciding what I should do now....
Some facts for making my decision...
- Black Sand Pearl '06 Scion TC - 1 yr old
- My friend told me I should be looking at around $500-$650 for repainting my hood...
- The CF hood I'm looking at is BBist's OEM CF hood which retails at $450
- Comprehensive insurance deductible is $500
- Planning to resell my vehicle in 6-7 years.
- Racing Solutions front lip in CF coming in, but due to backorder issues, I can cancel my order and get the ABS plastic front lip for $50 cheaper, but would require sanding, priming and painting along with my hood.
- Worried about having too much CF on the hood making BSP look "dirty" and not sleek.
Lastly, if someone has their OEM BSP hood they want to sell to me and live in the Bay Area, I'd go that way.

Well right now I only have one parking space...that parking space is being taken up by my 1990 911 Porsche... which I'm planning to sell to anyone whose might be interested. =P Once that car is sold, or I attain another parking space then my Scion will have its own gated parking garage.
To revinnova: this happened in SOMA, close to the ballpark.
