Default someone tried to steal my emblem (question !!!)

Ok so someone tried to steal my rear scion emblem and snapped a 4th of the emblem off, it looks like the plastic piece that the emblem is mounted to will come off to and i was wondering how much one of these would be to replace it because they put the screwdriver like through it

I've removed mine, just took a blow dryer and about 10-15 minutes. You might like it w/o the emblem, it's cheaper that replacing them, TRUST ME!! Or you could fine someone on here who has removed the emblem and isn't using it (I put mine on my custom grille).

i think that plastic piece is kinda expensive... could try patching up the hole and painting over it.... that emblem is hard to steal cause that thing is on crazy tight...

yes that emblem is a pian in the rear to get off. even if you have the right tools. and if he cracked the plastic hatch handle the scion emblem is embeded in, your screwed. you'll need a new one because it will be less expencive to buy a new one and ahve it painted, then to use fusor(super duper glue...hahaha) and glue it together, sand it down, prime, paint. and **** just a pain in the rear to doo all that. your probably looking at a whole new plastic piece, wich im sure scion charges 100bucks for. if they are anything like ford (i work in a ford bodyshop) anything is expencive and a rip off.

he said there is a 1/4 chip in it.... so i still think it's cheaper to patch it up and paint it... that whole piece comes right off... use some floss take off the emblem, patch up the chip, sand it down, and paint it.... if u have some expierience with the aersol can u can even paint it on ur own since it's a small piece

if you decide to remove it heat it with a heat gun lightly (so not to burn the paint ) then use think fishing wire to slide underneath it and remove the adhesive from the pain.
