Default scratches....

hey try some SCRATCH X by meguiar's. u can get some at walmart for like 6 or 7 bucks. look for the black tube with the red X. i had a run in with a construciton barrell on the highway. some a hole came over on me and i sideswiped the barrel ( the orange and white ones) it put a lot of scratches along the pass side bumper, fender and mirror and a few on the pass door. scratch x got 85-90% of em out. so good luck

No sweat, the bubbles should come out, as long as they are tiny & don't look like water ballons.

I had a similar experience, I am a strong believer in helping out the little guy so to speak. I live in a town where local owners are a big deal. I wanted my xB pro detailed after the winter of last year to start the new show season off.

I could have paid the $129.00 or cheaper & had the dealer I am sponsored by do it, but instead I paid $120.00 & had the local guy do it. When he was done the car looked beautiful, I parked it & didn't touch it until the day of the show. When I got there I found scratches on the rear bumper & on my new rear strut bar. Tells me he drug a vacum or somthing into the back without thinking.

Being it was the day after I could not complain about it. I chalked it up as a learning experience.

It sucks dude I feel your pain !!!

I bought it from wal-mart yesterday, and i was reading the instructions; it says after you apply it wait before you wipe the area with a microfiber cloth. How long am i supposed to wait? I waited for like 5 minutes and wiped the area, but didnt see much of a result. However it seemed as the really hard to notice scratches have dissapeard, but there are still many that show. There are 3 scratches that expose the primer (1 on the hatch, and 2 on the drivers side rear fender), and im sure there is nothing that can be done about those. Im thinkin about taking it to a body shop and asking them what i should do.

Default scratch x

yeah u put it on like a wax. like a thin caot then let it dry to a haze. the thing is u gotta put some elbow grease into it. use ur fingertips with the cloth over them to really rub out the scratches.. i used a old t shirt worked great ... like i said u gotta put some pressure on it . remove in circular motions like removing wax

u apply the stuff in a thin layer with a piece of an old t shirt , let it dry to a haze, it should be dry to the touch...
then with another piece u buff off the stuff

my dealer buffed it out for free for me, but it happened to me like 2 weeks after i got my car, so my sales rep helped me out. it makes me cringe my teeth everytime i see my scratches, although they arnt as visible, its still the principal of the matter though.
